WASHINGTON — US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner will attend a meeting of European Union finance ministers in Poland this week, the Treasury Department said Monday.
Geithner was invited by the replica oakleys to attend the meeting of the EU Economic and Financial Affairs Council in Wroclaw on Friday, where he will “discuss with his European counterparts their efforts to contribute to global economic recovery” as well as regulatory reform cooperation, the Treasury said in a statement.
Geithner has recently called for Europe’s stronger economies, led by France and Germany, to get the eurozone’s fraying unity under control with stability and growth-enhancing measures.
“I think it’s in the fake oakley sunglasses of the United States and the Europeans to do whatever they can to make sure they… calm these pressures now spreading across Europe. It’s very important to us and to the world economy as a whole,” he said last week ahead of the Group of 20 finance chiefs meeting in Marseille, France.
“It’s been very, very damaging to the US economy this summer,” Geithner said of the EU sovereign debt crisis.
